Mr. Miller, with his son Jim and other associates,

formation of Miller Global Properties.
From 1955 through 1968, Mr. Miller was in the private
practice of law specializing in real estate, corporate and general business law.
During that time he conceptualized, created and then coordinated a joint venture
to annex, zone, subdivide and develop a 2,900-acre tract of land adjacent to the
City of Denver owned by his family. The property, known as Montbello, has a
population today estimated at over 30,000 people and was designed to be a new
"city within a city." Under his co-direction, the industrial park was sold out
in five years with over 100 sales transactions. The venture developed and
managed 28 industrial buildings as well as over 1,250 apartment units, and
office, retail and hotels.
In 1969, Mr. Miller joined Urban Investment and
Development Co. ("Urban"), a subsidiary of Aetna Life & Casualty and then one of
the nation's largest real estate development companies. He served as Executive
Vice President in charge of the western half of the U.S. and was responsible for
Urban's development, ownership, and management of a variety of real estate
property types.
In January, 1978, Mr. Miller formed Miller-Davis Co., a
partnership with Marvin Davis, for the purpose of finding a niche in the U.S.
real estate market. Later, Miller-Davis Co. took in additional partners and
became Miller-Klutznick-Davis-Gray Co. ("MKDG"). Mr. Miller concentrated on
joint venture opportunities, utilizing and expanding the relationships he had
developed with financial institutions, insurance companies, corporations,
brokers, investors, and other real estate owners and developers.
Mr. Miller is a native of Denver and graduated with
