Peter Savoie

Mr. Savoie is an Executive Vice President of Miller Global and has 21 years experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and leasing.

Mr. Savoie is responsible for sourcing and underwriting office acquisitions and dispositions for Miller Global in various markets throughout the United States.  In this capacity, he is involved in sourcing office investments and ventures, coordination investment analysis, deal structuring, contract negotiations, due diligence and closing.  With respect to dispositions, Mr. Savoie is active in the underwriting, marketing, broker and buyer selection process, due diligence and closing process.

Mr. Savoie started his real estate career in 1984 with Knowlton Realty, a Calgary, Alberta, based commercial real estate agency.  Based in Denver, he acted as landlord’s agent for the leasing of over 2 million square feet of office properties in both the central business district and suburban markets.  In 1989, Mr. Savoie joined Cushman Realty Corporation (CRC).  During his 11 years at CRC, he sold over $3 billion of office properties throughout the western United States, in addition to managing a staff of 30.  Notable clients included Metropolitan Life, Prudential, Carlyle, Lowe and Associates and Crescent Real Estate.  He was CRC’s top investment sales professional in the Unites States from 1995 through 2000.

Following the merger between Cushman Realty Corporation and Cushman & Wakefield in July 2001, Mr. Savoie joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Financial Services Group as Executive Managing Director.  In this capacity, Mr. Savoie oversaw the firm’s Financial Services Group midwest and southwest operations which consisted of approximately 115 brokerage professionals located in more than 25 offices.  The group’s activities included the sale, finance and structuring of office, retail, industrial and hotel properties totaling over $17 billion annually.

 Mr. Savoie earned a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario and an MBA in finance from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, Canada.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado and was recognized twice as the top investment sales broker by the Denver Chapter of NAIOP.
